Also known as GutGirlMD, she's a board-certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist mother of three who “accidentally” stumbled into the role of a physician leader. She started GutGirlMD because she believes that it takes Guts to be a Girl in Medicine and is now on a mission to stop the hemorrhaging of female physicians from the healthcare system.
Dr. Sears' dream is to re-create a highly successful Women Leaders in Medicine program in any institution, hospital, or system that wants to improve burnout, retention, and engagement of their women physicians.
